Though conceived primarily as a pendant, its design logic also allows the shade to be mounted on a stand or fixed to a wall, and when grouped together, multiple small ceramic lamps can be combined to form a striking chandelier composition. Each shade is finished entirely by hand, meaning subtle variations and small imperfections are inevitable, lending every piece its own individual character rather than detracting from it.

Crafted from porcelain, the pendant is available with either a flush mounting or a canopy mounting, the latter finished in brass and measuring Ø10.6 x 3.2 cm. The lamp itself measures 16 x 18.5 x 6.9 cm and weighs 0.45 kg, paired with a transparent cord of 3 metres in length. An integrated LED light source is included, emitting a warm 3000K colour temperature with a lumen output of 160 and a CRI above 80, drawing just 1.6W of power. The design is phase-cut dimmable and rated IP20 for indoor use, carrying an F energy label and CE certification.

The untreated, uncoated metal canopy will naturally develop a patina over time, a feature of ageing that owners may choose to preserve or gently polish away. Designed by Piet Hein Eek, this small ceramic pendant brings a sculptural, handcrafted quality to any interior, whether used alone or as part of a larger lighting composition.
