Foscarini Rituals Pendant has been created by Ludovica Palomba and Roberto Palomba for the brand Foscarini. It invites a warm, welcoming environment influenced by the inviting design and light materials of Japanese lanterns.
The Rituals lamps recall the paper lanterns used in Oriental culture, but they are made of blown glass, a material boasting a thousand-year Venetian tradition, in different yet complementing shapes. This striking pendant light will cast ambient lighting and a diffuse glow around the room with a striped effect around the white, blown, Glass shade that is made with a unique grinding process.
Distinguished by a harmonious elongated shape, Rituals 1 diffuses a caressing and suffused light. It provides ambient and diffused illumination. The striped effect of the diffuser is achieved using a mould with negative decorations, which are repeated across the surface of the glass. It includes a lacquered metal canopy.
The Rituals 2 suspension lamp has an imposing presence, casting a warm, sunny glow. It is a perfect addition to instantly transform the atmosphere of a dining room, living room, or bedroom.
Rituals 3 is distinguished by a small volume that makes its use more versatile, with the creased surface that diffuses a warm, vibrant light. Like the pedestal of a work of art, the L-shaped support of the wall lamp version allows multiple solutions to be created: with the glass directed up or down, or in the version fitted with two diffusers.
