Produced by Danese Milano, this iconic object pairs clean geometric form with ingenious engineering, making it as much a design piece as a practical accessory.

The design is composed of two simple elements: a cube-shaped melamine shell, open on one side, houses a bent aluminium sheet insert. The clever construction allows the acute angle of one end to let ash fall inside, while the overlapping opposite end conceals the contents from view, keeping the surface clean and the design uncompromised. The inner aluminium component is removable for easy cleaning, and the piece is fire resistant, ensuring both durability and safety in daily use.

Crafted from a combination of melamine and aluminium, the Cubo Ashtray is available in White, Black, and Orange, the latter offered exclusively in the smaller size. It comes in two dimensions: the compact S measuring 6x6x6 cm, and the larger L measuring 8x8x8 cm, allowing you to choose the version best suited to your space.

A true design classic, the Cubo Ashtray embodies Munari's rational approach to everyday objects, transforming a functional item into a refined sculptural presence for the desk, table, or living area.
