First presented as a box set of six small colour screen prints, the series takes the human face as its subject, exploring expression and character through a graphic language that balances rigor with imagination. Munari, who described himself as an "inventor of signs," used this project to distill the features shaped by time into a form of expressive, almost playful, visual synthesis.

Each print is produced using a 3-colour screenprint technique on 350 gsm Agrumi Citrus ivory paper, a quality choice that preserves the depth and precision of Munari's original graphic research while giving the work a tactile, archival-grade finish suited to display.

This edition is available in six designs: I, II, III, IV, V, and VI, each offering a distinct interpretation of the ancestral faces that define the series.
