oluce-parallel-floor-lamp
Oluce Parallel Floor Lamp

Designed by Victor Vasilev in 2022, the Oluce Parallel Floor Lamp brings a sculptural, tactile presence to the Oluce collection. Its form is built around a cylindrical metal lampshade, held by a vertical stem set laterally rather than centrally, lending the piece a distinct architectural asymmetry. Two matt-black metallic plates run along the stem, spaced apart and sliding in parallel lines from the base up to the lampshade, a detail that gives the design its name and its distinctive geometric rhythm.

What truly sets Parallel apart is its lampshade, finished on the outside with hammered leather, marking the first time Oluce has introduced this material into one of its lamp collections. The result is an original interplay of visual and tactile qualities that feels both refined and robust, equally suited to classic interiors and more contemporary, pared-back spaces.

Crafted with meticulous Italian attention to detail, the base, stem and closing disk are finished in lacquered matt black, while the reflector is wrapped in textured leather. The lamp is fitted with a universal dimmer and takes two E27 bulbs of up to 60W each, allowing the direct light to be adjusted to suit the mood of any room.

The Parallel Floor Lamp is available in Leather Brown and Leather Sand, two warm, understated tones that highlight the natural character of the hammered leather. A versatile and thoughtfully engineered piece, it brings both innovation and timeless craftsmanship to any interior setting.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0659/2646/3734/files/parallel-396__web_OLU-parallel-396-gallery04.jpg?v=1791572600
