Its considerable weight ensures stability, allowing it to stand securely whether displaying a bouquet or standing alone as a sculptural statement. The 25 cm version has a diameter of 6 cm and weighs 0.8 kg, offering a compact yet impactful presence on any surface.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eIsa Andersson developed the Hydraulic Vase during her studies at Konstfack, Stockholm University of Arts, Crafts, and Design, drawing inspiration from the malleability of steel under industrial hydraulic presses. Working closely with fellow student Johan Krantz, she explored how immense pressure could transform rigid metal into forms reminiscent of melting or folding, while carefully preserving structural integrity through precise calculation.
