Traditionally tucked out of sight, the laundry basket here becomes a statement piece that enhances the interior, whether placed in the bedroom, hallway or utility room.

Designed in collaboration with Søren Rose Studio, Oya is crafted from perforated steel, combining durability with a sense of lightness. The round, shiny surfaces and the distinctive "halo" ring frame everyday contents with quiet sophistication.

The name Oya is inspired by the Japanese word kakomu, meaning to surround or embrace. It also echoes tsutsumi, to conceal, and the organic form of the tulip, folding softly around its core. This thoughtful concept is reflected in a basket that both embraces and gently conceals what it holds.

Available in Warm Grey and Dark Grey, Oya brings subtle sophistication and timeless functionality into everyday living. Each basket comes with a 75-liter cotton bag that can be washed at or below 40 °C, making daily use simple and practical.

With measurements of 68.4 x 44 x 44 cm, the basket offers generous capacity while maintaining a refined presence.
