This equilibrium makes the chair equally at home in public settings and private interiors, adapting effortlessly to the character of the space it inhabits.

The design draws its identity from the intriguing characteristics of bats, translated into an inviting, sculptural shell that echoes the shape of a bat's wingspan. This visual reference gives the chair a strong, embedded narrative, yet it is expressed through a minimalist idiom rooted in Scandinavian craft traditions, simplicity, and functionalism.

In its fully upholstered version, the front textile can be updated over time, allowing the chair to evolve alongside changing interiors and encouraging long-term personalization. This particular configuration is shown in Dora Boucle upholstery by Enzo Degli Angiuoni, paired with a base in Antique Brass finish, a combination that highlights the chair's soft, tactile shell against a warm metallic frame.

The Bat Lounge Chair belongs to a broader family within the Bat Chair collection, which spans dining chairs in front-upholstered, fully upholstered, and un-upholstered versions, as well as a height-adjustable swivel meeting chair and an outdoor edition featuring UV-protected materials. Together, these variations share a cohesive design language while addressing the specific demands of dining, meeting, lounging, and outdoor environments.

As a made-to-order piece, the Bat Lounge Chair is produced individually, with delivery times reflecting its considered, upholstery-led construction.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0659/2646/3734/files/10091874_F3Q_Bat_LoungeChair_Low_back_FullyUpholstered_Conic_Antique_Brass__Dora_Boucle_2C_Enzo_Degli_Angiuoni__0.jpg?v=1790770577
