Created by GamFratesi, this fully upholstered chair retains the silhouette and structural integrity that made the original an icon, while introducing a softer, more expressive character built around comfort and touch.

The chair's dual-shell structure remains unchanged, along with its curved shell and slim conical legs, a design language that reflects GamFratesi's signature fusion of Danish minimalism and Italian elegance. What sets Beetle Soft apart is its looser, wadding-style upholstery, applied without piping, resulting in subtle pleats and relaxed folds that give the chair a fuller, plusher presence. This visible softness draws inspiration from the relaxed design ethos of the 1970s, making the chair feel both nostalgic and thoroughly contemporary.

A new generation of upholstery options has been developed specifically to enhance this tactile quality, allowing the chair's texture and volume to take center stage. The version shown features Smooth Leather GUBI in Coffee, paired with a Matt Black base finish, though additional upholstery choices are available to suit different interiors.

Each Beetle Soft Lounge Chair is made to order, with delivery typically within one to three months. It is particularly well suited to comfort-driven, contemporary interiors where tactility and relaxed sophistication take precedence, offering a fresh, inviting expression of a design that has long held its place among GUBI's most beloved pieces.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0659/2646/3734/files/10143190_F3Q_Beetle_Soft_Lounge_Chair_Black_Matt_Base_GUBI_2C_Smooth_Leather_Coffee.jpg?v=1790770697
