First created in 1965, it remains one of his most revered and sought-after works, defined by an angular trapezoidal body and signature inverted-pyramid legs in solid wood.

Despite its sharp geometry, the V11 is made for comfort. Wikkelsø believed there is no single way to sit in a chair, and any good design should allow for multiple seating positions. The high back, deep seat, low-slung arms and all-around cushioning of this lounge chair reflect that philosophy, inviting you to sink in, sit upright or settle sideways.

GUBI has painstakingly recreated the design through a process of 3D scanning, preserving the proportions and craftsmanship of the original. The V11 family also includes an accompanying ottoman, and both pieces are FSC® certified (FSC®-C176589). The legs are finished in oiled solid American walnut, adding natural warmth and depth to the strong silhouette.

This fully upholstered version comes with a choice of three coverings: Forli, Limonta (027), Smooth Leather, GUBI (Cream) and Smooth Leather, GUBI (Coffee). Whether you prefer the soft textile character of Forli or the tactile richness of leather in a light or deep tone, the upholstery options show how adaptable Wikkelsø's design is across different interiors.

Each chair is made to order, with delivery in 1-3 months. A timeless statement piece for living rooms, lounges and reading corners, the V11 combines sculptural form with genuine comfort.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0659/2646/3734/files/10123423_F3Q_V11_Lounge_Chair_American_Walnut_Forli_Limonta.jpg?v=1792403434
