Crafted from cotton thread on natural linen, it brings the texture and warmth of handmade textile to the wall.

Rather than depicting familiar or touristic views, Spacon looks at Copenhagen as a lived experience. The collection captures everyday moments that define life in the city: bike rides with friends, beers on the water, swimming in the canals and city rain. Each scene begins as a hand-drawn illustration and is then carefully interpreted in delicate embroidery, giving the artwork a subtle, tactile quality that a flat print cannot match.

Spacon is an award-winning, Copenhagen-based spatial design studio working across strategy, branding, product and digital experiences. Guided by the idea of designing for encounters, the studio treats design as a form of hosting, shaping spaces and objects that invite openness, interaction and presence. That philosophy is felt throughout this piece.

The artwork measures 40 x 50 cm and is made in Portugal. It arrives ready to hang with an invisible magnetic hanging system, so the linen sits cleanly against the wall without a visible frame. The set includes two magnets, two screws and two metal hangers that slide into the top and bottom of the artwork. Wall plugs are not included.

A thoughtful choice for living rooms, hallways, bedrooms or offices, A City Encounter 01 adds quiet character and a sense of place to any interior.
