Created by the Danish design studio Spacon, it is part of A City Encounter, Paper Collective's first collection of embroidered artworks, and brings a handcrafted, textile-based dimension to the wall.

The collection draws on Copenhagen as a lived experience rather than a tourist postcard. Spacon turns everyday moments into hand-drawn illustrations: bike rides with friends, beers on the water, swimming in the canals and city rain. Each illustration is then lovingly interpreted in delicate embroidery, giving the artwork a tactile, textured quality that a printed piece cannot offer.

The piece is made from cotton thread on natural linen and produced in Portugal. At 100 x 140 cm, it is a generous format that makes a confident statement in a living room, hallway, bedroom or any space that benefits from warmth and softness. The natural linen base adds a calm, organic backdrop to the embroidered detail.

Each artwork comes ready to hang with an invisible magnetic hanging system. The set includes 3 magnets, 3 screws and 2 metal hangers that slide into the top and bottom of the piece, allowing it to hang cleanly and flat. Please note that wall plugs are not included.

Spacon is an award-winning, Copenhagen-based spatial design studio that approaches design as a form of hosting, creating spaces and objects that invite openness, interaction and presence. A City Encounter 07 carries that spirit into your home as a quiet, characterful piece of contemporary textile art.
