Conceived as a reading lamp, it is built from two metal discs of contrasting proportions: the slimmer of the pair forms the base, while the thicker disc conceals the LED light source. Connecting them is a slender, oblique stem shaped like a ‘Z’, lending the piece a sculptural silhouette that feels both architectural and effortless.

Crafted with meticulous attention to material and finish, the base and sloped stem are rendered in anodic bronze, while the adjustable reflector is finished in satin gold. A transparent PMMA disc closes the light source, completing a refined interplay of warm metals and subtle transparency. The lamp houses a single LED source of up to 18 W, with a color temperature of 2700 K, a luminous flux of 2600 lm, and a CRI above 85 — delivering direct, focused light ideal for reading corners and considered interiors. A dimmable switch allows full control over intensity and mood.

Beyond its role as an interior reading lamp, the Amanita concept has also been reimagined in an outdoor version, with revised proportions, materials, and an Indian brown finish — transforming it into an elegant path-light suited to refined gardens and public spaces.

Produced by Oluce, Italy’s oldest design company in the lighting sector since 1945, Amanita reflects a legacy of craftsmanship and design integrity, embodying the brand’s commitment to Made in Italy quality and enduring aesthetic vision.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0659/2646/3734/files/amanita-619__web_OLU-amanita-619-ambient-slider02.jpg?v=1791572506
