Rotaliana Venere by Giovanni Lauda

Venere takes its name from the 'strabismus of Venus': the two discs of the lamp move like an eye, flat for diffused light or tilted and turned to aim it. Giovanni Lauda designed it in 2021 in die-cast aluminium with an opaline diffuser. The W1 is 25 cm across with 2000 lm, the W2 33 cm with 2900 lm, both CRI 90 with the driver included.

Venere, designed by Giovanni Lauda in 2021, is a diffused-light wall or ceiling lamp made of two overlapping aluminium discs joined by a hinge, with an opaline polycarbonate diffuser. Flat against the surface it is a slim disc; opened to 96 degrees and rotated it beams the light where it is needed, like an eye looking around. Two sizes, 25 and 33 cm, in 2700 or 3000 K, on/off, Push or Dali.
