Valerie Objects Piovenefabi Metro Lamps
The Piovenefabi Metro Lamps collection for Valerie Objects reinterprets the Milan metro's iconic handrail, first unveiled as a floor lamp at the 2017 Chicago Architecture Biennial. Piovenefabi, the Milan–Brussels architecture studio behind the design, deconstructed the original silhouette into a full lighting family finished in playful colours that reference the Milan metro system itself.
Beyond the original floor lamp, the collection includes three table lamps and a wall-mounted pendant, each carrying the same line-drawing character in steel with an E27 LED source. Bold, graphic and sculptural, the Metro Lamps turn everyday lighting into an architectural statement.
