BằNG Lớp by Thomas Vincent
Designed by Thomas Vincent, Lớp is a family of lamps built from layers of cast acrylic around a glowing opal sphere. Table and floor sizes, two super-big formats and a 101 cm suspension with eight spheres. Nine acrylic colours and a mirror-polished stainless steel version, all handmade in BằNG's workshop in Vietnam.
Lớp is BằNG's signature lighting collection, designed by Thomas Vincent and made in the brand's own workshop in Vietnam. In Vietnamese, lớp means layer: each lamp holds a sphere of light between stacked sheets of cast acrylic and stainless steel, so the reflections multiply and the piece changes with every angle. The range runs from the Small Square table lamp to the Big Rectangle floor lamp, the Super Big formats and the Round Suspension, a ring of eight floating spheres. Finishes: nine acrylic colours, from Clear and Milky to Orange, Blue and the iridescent Dreamy, plus mirror-polished stainless steel.
