Maiori

Maiori started in Hong Kong in 1989 as a furniture maker and later turned to solar lighting, which it is known for today. The range covers La Lampe Paris and Petite, the Parc and Pacha lanterns, Padère, Palm and Paillote in woven rattan, the Parvis bollards, and the Lido, Lys and Lotus table lamps. The solar lamps charge in daylight and light up without a cable; Lido, Lys and Lotus run on a removable rechargeable battery — all made for terraces, gardens and hospitality.

Maiori was founded in Hong Kong in 1989 as MDF — Manufacture Design Factory — a maker of furniture parts that handled its products from design to marketing. Over the years the brand built up its own design studio and extended its range to solar lighting, which is what it is best known for today.

The collection is made for life outdoors: floor lamps such as La Lampe Paris, Pendule and Palm, the compact Petite table lamp, the Parc, Pacha and Patio lanterns, rattan pieces like Padère and Paillote, and the Parvis bollards for paths and driveways. Each solar lamp charges in daylight and switches on without a cable, so it can stand wherever the evening happens. The Lido, Lys and Lotus portable lamps work the same way indoors and out, on a removable rechargeable battery.

Alongside the lamps, Maiori makes the Light Tray serving trolley, a charging tray, and replacement solar modules and batteries that keep older lamps going — in line with the brand's long-standing focus on useful, durable design.
