Designed by Hans Thyge & Co, Emendo strips a lamp down to crown, trunk and base. The table lamp dims in three steps at a touch; the rechargeable portable lamp gives up to 11 hours of light and charges by USB-C; the Qi version charges your phone on its base. In black, cloud and emerald, the portable lamp also in brass and chrome.
Emendo — Latin for "to refine" — is a lamp family by Hans Thyge & Co for Please Wait To Be Seated, its form inspired by a tree's crown, trunk and base. It comes in three versions: a classic table lamp, a compact rechargeable portable lamp and a table lamp with a Qi wireless phone charger in its enlarged base.
