The Rivet Series showcases a distinctive blend of industrial precision and handcrafted character. Designed by Jonas Trampedach in 2011, the collection is built using a unique hand-hammered riveting technique that replaces traditional welding. Sheets of laser-cut aluminium are joined by striking them into place, giving each piece its sharp, architectural lines and revealing the beauty of raw, untreated metal. Over time, the aluminium naturally develops a soft patina, allowing every object to evolve and gain individuality.
Across the series, this craftsmanship translates into sculptural yet functional furniture pieces that feel both timeless and contemporary. From storage units and shelves to tables and seating, each item carries the same clear visual language: clean geometry, visible rivets, and a strong sense of material honesty. The recent introduction of the Glass Rivet Box Table expands the collection into a new material expression while preserving its iconic construction technique.
