Rooted in Danish tradition but driven by innovation, AYTM’s designs are crafted through close collaboration between their in-house team and external designers at their Aarhus-based headquarters.
AYTM’s journey began at the harbor of Aarhus, Denmark, deeply rooted in the traditions of Danish design but with a bold vision to reinvent them. Founded by husband and wife duo Per and Kathrine Gran Hartvigsen, AYTM merges minimalistic Scandinavian forms with rich, internationally inspired colors, offering a fresh perspective in interior design.
After returning from Bangladesh, the couple initially launched Gran Living in 2004, providing high-quality home accessories for upscale retailers in Northern Europe. In 2015, they realized their dream by creating AYTM, a brand that blends tradition with modern flair. The name is a playful twist on the word "item" and reflects their passion for crafting meaningful, elegant home accessories.
The entire design process is housed at AYTM’s headquarters by the Aarhus harbor, where their team collaborates closely with external designers. Every piece created is a testament to their shared creativity and craftsmanship.
