Chen Bikovski is a designer from Tel-Aviv, Israel. In 2012 she was awarded with the "Young Designer of 2012". Now her work is presented a lot in galleries and design publications.
Since her childhood she has been fascinated by pop-up books. The excitement when turning a page, that uncovers a whole new world. Therefor the lamps in their serie are inspired by every day icons and make them come to life in an artistic and elegant way.
The beautiful form of the lamp is being amplified by the reflection of the light on the wall, creating a "wow effect". This brings back the memories, excitement and naivety that we felt when we openend our first popup book.
