Night falls, and one plant steps out of the dark. Zapa Native Spike is the simplest spot in the collection: a small brass head, Ø 25 mm, on a spike that goes straight into a border. Set it at the foot of a shrub or a grass, tilt the head, and the light climbs through the leaves while everything around stays in shadow. That shadow is what makes the scene. Choose a 25° lens to pick out one subject, or 40° to wash a wider group of plants.
Solid raw brass that patinates with the seasons. The driver stays outside the fixture, within easy reach, and every part is available separately: repairing beats replacing.
Fixtures made to be handed down.
